Chiquita Limer is a professional figure skating choreographer from Jakarta, Indonesia with more than 15 years of experience in skating and dance. The first stroke she took on ice was at the age of seven, choreographed at the age of twelve, and at the age of fourteen, she had successfully choreographed a huge ice show called ‘Little Mermaid On Ice’. She got her BFA in dance from Jakarta Institute of The Arts with full-scholarships, where she received a world record from MURI by creating the first figure skating, traditional dance, music, and theatre performance on ice. She was the founder and president of Ice Skating Club at SUNY Brockport, where she got her MFA in choreography. ‘Arthleticism’ is a term she coined specifically in figure skating. She believes figure skating is both art and sport that skaters can perform both artistically and athletically. Currently she is the director
of New York Theater On Ice and the artistic director of AIT New York.
